Aishwarya Rai born November 1, 1973, is an award-winning South Indian actress. Rai, who won the 1994 Miss World title, made her film debut in Mani Ratnam's Iruvar and had her first critical and commercial success with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, with whom she repeated this success with Devdas. Since then, she has acted in approximately forty Hindi, Tamil, Bengali and English films. Today, she is considered to be one of the most popular actresses in India and the best-known Indian actress in the world. And now that the project is ready to roll, another hurdle has come in its way because the dates the producers want from Ash have already been given to the next Mani Ratnam film with Abhishek Bachchan .
Things have got tighter because Ash is next required to shoot Shankar’s Robot (which has been delayed) and also join her “Pa” Amitabh Bachchan and hubby Abhishek for ‘The Unforgettable Tour’ in Canada, USA and the UK.
However, all is not lost for ‘Chaos’. Ash says she needs to rework her dates and work under a tighter schedule to accommodate the Hollywood flick in her diary.
So far, Ash has worked in only one Hollywood film ‘The Last Legion’ which got a very limited release and was rejected by movie buffs.
